I’m sorry I’ve not been posting the past two days… I’m choreographing a concert down south, and I have 13 hour rehearsal days. It’s been nuts, and I haven’t had a moment to really sit down and think about anything but dance moves to “CC Rider” and “Spider-Man” (the concert is quite eclectic.)
The choreography is fabulous dirty southern soul, which really takes a toll on the body after a few hours.
Anyway, dancing for the better part of 13 hours with plantar fasciitis has been surprisingly fine. I’ve felt tightness. I’ve felt fatigue and slight pain in my heel, but with the rolling and icing and stretching, I’ve been completely focused on my job and not on annoying sensations in my legs and feet.
I keep on thinking about when I was dealing with PF for the first time and had no idea what was happening to me. I hadn’t even heard of plantar fasciitis. The slow decline over the months was horrific. Now, after the first hint of pain in my heel, I’ve got a game plan that not only works but QUICKLY works. Sweeeeeeeet!
Wishing all of you health and happiness!
